Since the age of five, I have been passionately in love with travel. It all began as a young child escaping from a war-torn country. When I should have been scared, I was fascinated by how the airplane flew through the clouds. That love affair with all things travel has never left me. Momsbucketlist.com is the result of that wanderlust heart.
During my teen years, my friends became aware of the opposite sex. I, on the other hand, spent many nights curled up with my trusty atlas mapping out future journeys.
I was lucky enough to have had a dad who was stationed in Japan, family members living abroad, and a mom who was willing to put me on a plane to visit them in exotic locales. Before the age of eighteen, I had over 20 stamps in my passport.
My insatiable hunger did not subside once I entered my college years. I saved every penny I could to feed my ever-growing wanderlust.
Trips close to home replaced travels to far off lands when money was tight.
I was so fortunate to have met the love of my life in my twenties who not only understood my love of travel but also encouraged me to follow the road less taken.
When my boys were born, I had instant travel partners who followed me wherever the wind blew us.
momsbucketlist.com chronicles my past, present, and future adventures across the states and across the globe. My hope for this blog is to inspire you to take that trip you’ve always wanted to take, to become the adventurer you know exists inside of you, and to look at the world with new eyes.
